I first put this presentation together in 2017 as a small presentation for the team at Woke Studio. It has been sitting on my hard drive for a while, but hopefully other people will find it useful too.

It summarizes advice from this piece, in which Apple and Oculus engineer Caitlin Kalinowski gives some great lessons from her time as a lead product design engineer. She mostly talks about hardware engineering, but I thought the high level principles were also applicable to digital product design, or any situation where you’re trying to bring something high quality to market.
